End user programming refers to ways of coding that are designed for any user to be able to use, not just a trained developer. Examples range from quite simple rules such as IFTTT to visual programming notations such as Scratch, which enable a near full range of coding. Some platforms build-in scripting, such as Apple Automator, and this is becoming more common as AI agents require access to applications. Of course, the most well used forms of end-user programming are the formulae in spreadsheets, although few move from this to full scripting.
